Bovikalc® is a calcium supplement for dairy cattle to be given in the period around parturition to help maintain the serum calcium levels in order to manage a hypocalcaemic state. The Bovikalc®bolus dissolves quickly in the rumen. The calcium chloride is available immediately while the calcium sulphate provides sustained release of calcium.
