Invetstore was set up by independent veterinary surgeons who are dedicated to promoting animal welfare and value for money for their clients, while at the same time doing everything possible to support local businesses and charities.
Our Vision
Supporting Veterinary Practices
We are a nation of animal lovers and animal keepers, whether they are pets in our homes or commercial farming businesses. We believe that one of the main cornerstones of our community is the veterinary practice which provides care and advice for our animals day and night, 365 days a year. This is why we pass on up to 90% of the profit from our members’ medicine purchases back to the prescribing vet practice. This provides vital support for them to provide you with the care you need for your animals, when you need it.
Cutting out the Red Tape
Gone are the days of endlessly printing, filling in, scanning and posting your vet prescriptions! We have developed an electronic prescription platform that automatically sends your prescription request directly to your vet. Your vet then reviews your prescription before electronically signing and submitting it to us or contacting you to discuss any alterations.
Supporting The Environment
Not only does our prescribing platform almost entirely remove paper from the process, we also make our products available for Free Delivery wherever we can. Free of charge to our members, our Free Delivery service carefully controls the temperature of your medicines whilst dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of transporting your order by halving the amount of journeys that it takes to make it to your front door from our suppliers. Wherever possible, we package our deliveries into re-purposed, recyclable packaging.
Supporting National and Local Charities
As part of the checkout process, we give our members the option to round up the amount payable with the difference being donated to our nominated charity. We regularly review the charities that we donate to and are always open to suggestions from our members about which ones we should support.
